Chris Eubank Jr. has taken to social media, telling promoter Eddie Hearn he wants to hear the money offer for a fight against Conor Benn next. Benn says he’s “bored” of the Eubank Jr. situation, and he’s now fully focused on making a fight with Gervonta Davis next. The middleweight Eubank Jr. (33-3, 24 KOs) says he has Bob Arum of Top Rank “on the other line,” meaning he has options besides a fight with Benn (23-0, 14 KOs). It seems like Eubank Jr. wants to hear and see Hearn get on his knees and beg him to honor Benn with this fight. Last Saturday night, Hearn was practically begging Eubank Jr. to take the fight with Benn, and it was troubling to see how desperate and forlorn Eddie looked with his plea. Hearn still wants the Eubank Jr. fight, even though Benn has a much bigger clash in the pipeline against Tank Davis. The Matchroom Boxing promoter Hearn thinks that British fans will eagerly purchase a fight between Benn and the soon-to-be 35-year-old Eubank Jr., and he could be right.

Eubank Jr.: Show Me the Money Conor Benn: “I’m bored of the Eubank name. You’ve lost your pen on enough occasions now. Bag fumbled. My full focus is on the munchkin, Gervonta Davis. Chris Eubank Jr: “Jerry [Maguire]. I mean, Eddie [Hearn], you have my number. You can call me anytime & this is exactly how the conversation will go. I got Bob ‘Arum’ on the other line… I BETTER HEAR YOU SAY IT!!!” said Eubank Jr. on X, wanting Benn’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, to ‘Show me the money.’ Hearn’s Desperation and Fan Divide Eddie Hearn: “Chris Eubank Jr, what is your problem? People are talking about, ‘He shouldn’t make 160.’ You are a 160-pounder. That guy in there, Conor Benn, has got come up two divisions to fight you. He was in there with a small 154-pounder [Peter Dobson] tonight and couldn’t put a dent in him. “Why won’t you fight Conor Benn for millions and millions and millions? I’ll keep going of pounds.” U.S. fans view Eubank Jr. as a non-achieving, aging, domestic-level British fighter who could never proven himself at the world level. But for Brits, they can’t get enough of Eubank Jr, and they don’t mind that he’s done nothing with his career. I’m bored of the Eubank name you lost your pen on enough occasions now. #bagfumbled My full focus is on the munchkin @Gervontaa 🎯 https://t.co/buUl4Wne7b — Conor Nigel Benn (@ConorNigel) February 5, 2024
